So just this weekend was a small little local con that happened on saturday(Taste of Animethon), it's like a lite version of the regular con that happens in the summer. Gigi got a table there to sell, so we had to get her there in the morning, and it's kindda lame to drive all the way to the city at 9am and then just leave... Especially when we also had to meet up with some friends~ Originally, me and vivi were expecting the worse out of it cause it's small and felt that this con was 'unworthy' of our cosplay (lol... I know! we're spoiled! But more like too much effort for something this small.)

And so.... 2 night before the con, I was just whining to Vivi at how bored we'll be... Then we descided... Why not make our own thing happen! It's the people that makes a con! A friend was coming all the way from Calgary to see us so we shant disspoint!(This is for you Paul!) But if it's just us 2, it'll be kindda lame also... So we descided to drag 2 (helpless) boys into our 'cause'! In comes Yuusuke and Billy-chan~<3 We dragged them over to our house at 10pm at night to 'make' the costumes happen! They were very obedient and wears whatever we tell them to~ Such good little boys~ :3 Gah... I sound like a pedo X_x

Having done absolutely no new costumes since AX this past year... We managed pretty well! There were lots of mix and match and digging into cosplay closet done~ Somehow, we ended up with 4 sets of cosplays for all of us! Starting with Reborn, then Deathnote, then Code Geass, then vocaloid plus one prince of tennis XD Ahhhh~ How proud I am for our efficiency~ So in the end, the con dosn't seem so lame afterall~ It has officially a day of cosplay madness!

Yep... OMG... That is me... I was able to conjure up a Belphegor somehow... I dunno whether to feel embarassed or proud of it! But Yuusuke Billy makes the best Tsuna and Hibari eva!! (Too bad we couldn't convince them to have make out pics... XD; My fave pairing too ;-; )

In class right now, advanced visual designs is... boring... tedious... And I have food coma right now too! So trying to keep awake with this post.. I haven't slept much for the past few days! All I've been doing was school, work, and then game... Got my hands on Mass Effect 2 this weekend and have not stopped playing ever since... I think I've spent at least 40 hours into it X_x All I can think about in class was going home to play it, then rant about it to my friends, then doodle it... Yes, this is my current obsession :(

This is such a good game >_< Or at least, it catered to my obsessive gaming needs ever since I finished Dragon Age~ Ever to a point that it tore me away from TF2! The gameplay has certainly been 'improved' from the last. And the interactions are much more uh... interactive :D And best of all... I CAN ROMANCE GARRUS!!! I know it's like inter-species relationship, but whatever! It's the character that I care for most. In ME1, I was quite upset that he wasn't a choice, had to settle with the only male romance choice, Kaiden. Kaiden has such a boring flat character that I didn't care for. Garrus is so much more in depth~ I tried to talk to Garrus a million times, had him in my party always in hope that maybe.. just maaaybe I might had the chance... But sadly, I had to settle for Kaiden... :(

I played ME2 without spoiling myself with any news and whatever, so I totally squealed what Garrus revealed himself in the game, he was so cool, I cried a little when he almost died... D: And then I totally squealed even louder when that romance option appeared!! Bioware I love you, you certainly catered to the fan's neeeeeeds! Garrus' character in ME2 changed a little, and I think for the better :D Like Joker said, something about "the stick up his ass is out but now he's beating people with it". I love his slightly changed personality, more playful, vengeful, and sadistic~<3 The chatters between him and Tali are quite funny(party them in citadel)~ Tali is so cute btw, I'm going to do a second playthrough with a male sheppard just to date her XD

Kaiden is such a jerk in ME2, pretty much took all the thoughts of being faithful to him outta me when he yelled at me, even broke my heart a little... :( And then Garrus was there, he's always there~<3 So now I don't need Kaiden anymore! Nya!! Garrus and I shall live happily ever after!!! Yeah, I realize that this is as close as I can get for my american fix of dating sims...

Okay, done ranting, I realize that I am having drama with fictional characters... But am going to die soon from boredom/sleepiness in class unless I go home and have sleep or re-energize with game...

More like an update, since I've yet again neglected this place, I became a facebook whore instead! But now that it seems like my classes are not as busy as it was towards the end of last semester! I have time again~ :D

The new year has started good and bad.. but worse off than last... My school schedule got screwed up so it screwed up with my work... I did a fender bender that will cost me 1750... I lost my beautiful sketchbook... One of my hard drives died that had like 400gigs of crap in it... Laptop crashed... And other crap I try to forget about... But at the same time, good stuff happened to even it out! I.... don't know what they are but it's good? Uh, I played lotsa games and finished some games? I went out alot to try lotsa good food? I got Yuki another shaved cut... And that's about it... It's only been 2-3 weeks into the year... How lame...

Okay! I must try to be positive! Look forward to what's to come! Like cons and cosplay! Thinking about it always brings a smile to my face~ (I am still lame...) Aside from cosplays from before, I will certainly recycle wearing some older ones~ :3 But I definitely wanna make something new for this year~

-Team Fortress 2, since I am obsessed with this game for the past 2 years, I decided that I should actually do a cosplay for this :D I'm not sure what to do yet, I'm leaning towards pyro or engie. Engie cause it's my favorite class, and Pyro cause I can hide my gender!

-Houshin Engi, this... is actually the 1st ever cosplay I did in my life, back then, I sucked major ass, and now that I have "experience", I wanna do this again with a group! I'm not sure what character I wanna be, it all depends on the group! *wink wink nudge nudge*

-Something super difficult but really cool... My list have piled over the years because it is difficult... Ashelotte from Soul Calibur, Lenneth and Silmeria from Valkyrie Profile.

There hasn't been any new game/anime that has caught my eyes lately, so I can only think of older stuff~ I'll update when I think of some more~

And then earlier than that, I got yelled at by this bitch lady about something that a co-worker did, and I'm not even manager anymore! And what she complained about was ridiculous too! Clean every single movie in the store? Is she on crack?

And then later, some bastards tried to steal from my store, as soon as they walked in, I KNEW they were gunna steal, I trailed them and made myself known and everything, but the guy still tried to steal this stupid rock band guitar only set! And those don't even resell for much! Are they stupid or what? I chased him out swearing and freaking out like a crazy person, I think he got scared and left the guitar at panago's next door. It was weird cause an RCMP guy was at the store too, even tho they didn't exactly steal anything from my store(I got them back suckas!), he insisted I report this so I did. turns out, they were hitting alotta store around us. Hope they get his by an SUV and their balls fall off.

Actually, I almost forgot... And now I can continue my tradition that I do every year~ I remembered, just don't remember the purpose of why I started doing this... Certainly not the true meaning behind this, more like all for good fun~

God dammit, I'm falling further and further into my addiction with video games. My constant addiction with TF2 aside... All these new awsome games are coming out! I just started with Dragon Age, need to finish Uncharted 2, and COD:MW2 comes out next week, and L4D + Assasin's creed 2 comes out the week after... X_x Not even gunna touch borderlands as it'll just sapmy life away.

Which btw, I started a NAIT GAMERZ club for my school. Cause it was a huge surprise to me that my school, which is a technology institute, does not have a gaming club! We already got quite a few responces~! Oh, and here's our new-ish site for the club, only the forum is active at the moment (www.naitgamerz.com). I guess Edmontonians are just uber lazy to organize things or something. At least this will keep me somewhat occupied at school :D

...Shit, what have I gotten myself into X_x

 So I finally got a downtime chance to post on LJ regularly again. With Bellerose done with, my projects due dates and midterms came creeping up on me... :( But I have to chillax right now, so LJ it is!

Bellerose! Let's see... Although tiring, it was yet another successful year! We had a higher attendence and raised up to 6000 I believe. We had less problems as we did previously, so we have certainly learned from our past errors. But honestly, this con is getting a wee bit too big for just me and vivi to handle, I think it is time to fully delagade things to people. The problem is finding people we can trust! I am thankful for our friends for helping out, but I don't want to bother them with this every year.... This is when I say good help is hard to find these days. And the teacher staffs were kind of useless too...

Aside from that, our dance performance to GEE and chocolate disco didn't go all that bad afterall~ We had not practise at all for the week and went straight to doing it X_x And the miracle is that we managed decently! Check it out at Gigi's youtube page for it.

The maid cafe was... way too successful! Even when we moved to a bigger room, we don't have enough seats for people! And we ran out of refreshements quick! It was a period of transition from a smaller room to a bigger one, and when I handed the cafe task to Kathleen, who is awesome~ So we should know better in what to expect next year~!

Ohh, it's Halloweenie tmr. And I totally dressed up for school today. I chose to do my maid costume as my other cosplay would be a bit akward to wear around. At first, I hid under my jacket... cause I have seen NO ONE dressing up! And I was the only person dressing up in my class too! Gyaaaa..... But later in the day, I see more costumes.... Some mario's and luigi random nurses, pirates, watchmen, etc.
It's funny though, it was only in the HP building (department of IT and computer stuff) that had people dressing up, I went to the business and engineering buildings and nobody dressed up X_x The gatherings of nerds and otaku's I guess~ (<--is one of them). And turns out, alotta ppl cosplayed too! Lol... I saw a Sabre(Fate/Stay), some vampire knight cosplay, some final fantasy's, Naruto's, etc.

I guess Halloween is an excuse to cosplay in a way~ XD And I go thinking, what could I have cosplayed (aside from maids) that would be cool~ I want something easy to get around with, so that narrows down stuff that need petty coats. Maybe avoid wigs cause they are... troublesome, heavy, itchy, annoying... That pretty much eliminates 90% of the cosplays I ahve.... Uh, yeah, back to the Maid-sama cosplay it is~

I haven't been posting lately cause i've been uber busy with school, work, and Bellerose, 2 more weeks till the festival! *zomgwtfbbq freaks*

I never knew 3d modeling could be so complicated... Too many buttons X_x But then again, if I didn't know webbie stuff, that would be hard too~ I guess I just wanted to know a little bit of stuff beforehand instead of learning from scratch!
